Welcome to our Virtual Postcard Campaign! Our goal is to inform Congress about our positive Fulbright experiences, and to petition them for their continued support. As alumni, we want to continue the benefits of this amazing program, including:
• Spreading understanding and respect for American culture and values• Building networks of friends that anchor American national security• Bringing expertise and critical language skills to every state in America
Your campaign will help engage Congress to support funding for the Fulbright Program at $300 million for FY 2021. The Administration Budget cuts Fulbright by $151m (56%) to $121m for FY 2021.

Rationale for Increased Funding:Ten years of flat funding have lowered the value of the Fulbright Program by 21%. We must stop falling behind. An increase in America’s Fulbright investment will…•Restore global leadership ceded to China and countries that fund other exchanges
•Strengthen 49 critical alliances with countries that contribute another $100m
•Ensure the geographic and economic diversity of applicants that otherwise could not afford to accept a poorly funded grant
•Widen the global reach of Fulbrighters, spreading impact to more locations
